The fall 2009 New York Group Theory Seminar begins with a two-day conference at City College, CUNY.

Thursday, Oct 1st is a workshop aimed at graduate students, led by Profs. Gilbert Baumslag and Alexei Miasnikov.

Friday, Oct 2nd, Profs. Mladen Bestvina, Jim Cannon, Peter Kropholler, Zlil Sela, and Bill Thurston speak at CCNY in the Steinman Hall auditorium.
