FUNDING SOURCES
The AMS has a compilation of funding sources for PhD's in math which includes descriptions of departments as well
as external sources of funding. Go to page 101 of this compilation for funding that can be used at any department.
Do not forget to apply for minority or women's
fellowships if you qualify (Ford Foundation, Amelia Earhart etc). There are also funding sources targetted for international students and for permanent residents.
The Graduate Center maintains the A-Z
Grants and Resources Database, which is an excellent
source of funding information.
For more information on financial aid available through
the University, see the Office
of Financial Aid web site.
