Honors: Linda Keen was selected for an Emmy Noether Lecture in 1993. In 1990 she was awarded the Webster-Abby Rockerfeller Mauze Award for "distinguished women scholars" at MIT, a recognition first awarded to Hodkin, winner of the Nobel Prize for her work on X-ray Crystallography. In 1989 she gave an MAA Invited Address and in 1975 she gave an AMS invited address. This was only 11 years after she earned her PhD at Courant Institute, NYU with Lipman Bers.

Service: In addition to her service at the CUNY Graduate Center and at Lehman College, Linda Keen is an Editor for AMS Electronic Journal for Conformal Geometry and Dynamics, was a Coordinating Editor for 12 years for Proceedings of the AMS, is an Associate Editor for Annals Acad. Sci. Fenn. and is a Trustee of American Mathematical Society. She has also served as president of theAssociation of Women in Mathematics and vice president of the American Mathematical Society
