Honors:
Linda Keen was selected for an Emmy Noether Lecture in 1993. In 1990 she was awarded
the Webster-Abby Rockerfeller Mauze Award for "distinguished women scholars"
at MIT, a recognition first awarded to Hodkin, winner of the Nobel Prize for
her work on X-ray Crystallography. In 1989 she gave an MAA Invited Address and
in 1975 she gave an AMS invited address. This was only 11 years after she
earned her PhD at
Courant Institute, NYU with Lipman Bers.
